SE FIRMA EL CONVENIO PARA DAR ESTABILIDAD AL CAMPO EXTREMEÑO

El acuerdo cerrado ayudará a garantizar la estabilidad en el campo, precisamente cuando se encuentra en plena campaña de recogida de la fruta.

UPA-UCE Extremadura se alegra de que hoy, por fin, se haya podido acordar el convenio del campo sin que haya modificaciones destacables con respecto al acuerdo del pasado día 4 de junio.

El convenio firmado al mediodía del martes 23 de junio en Mérida entre organizaciones agrarias y sindicatos ayudará a dar estabilidad al campo, especialmente cuando nos encontramos en plena campaña de recogida de la fruta, con 40 grados y con la necesidad de abastecer el conjunto de los mercados. Que hoy hayamos firmado el convenio del campo es una gran noticia para los agricultores, señala el secretario general de UPA-UCE, Ignacio Huertas.

Desde UPA-UCE destacan que esta organización agraria ha sido la única que ha trabajado con rigor y responsabilidad en defensa de los intereses de los agricultores y ganaderos extremeños. Lamentamos el esperpento interpretado por las otras partes en esta negociación y creemos que solo los intereses partidistas, con el objetivo de generar tensión y conflicto en el campo, hacen entendible estas actuaciones, mantiene Huertas.

Para UPA-UCE Extremadura se trata de un buen acuerdo que sirve para recuperar la paz social y que introduce modificaciones positivas para los agricultores y ganaderos, como el nuevo modelo de registro horario, la reducción del coste para la primera hora y media extra o la flexibilidad laboral.
